May and June are two of my most favorite months to fish in Southwest Florida. Warmer waters and a gathering of bait both near and inshore, provide us with some of the best fishing conditions of the season, mainly because they draw the larger fish in from The Gulf. Tarpon and larger Snook have been roaming the shallow bays and coves of our local estuary system for a few weeks now and will continue to do so for some time. So if catching a big Snook or Tarpon is on your bucket list, now is the time to book that trip!
