I’ve been mixing it up the last few weeks by bouncing back and forth between the crab pots and the backwaters. We have been starting our mornings chasin’ the Snook bite, which has been fantastic at first light. After the Snook kinda’ shut down, I’ve been hitting the nearshore crab pots for Triple Tail. Most are shorts, but they are still a blast to target. The Reds have been tough on me so far this season, but I have been able to find a few hiding in feeder creeks. The Trout and Pompano bite is starting to pick up a bit, as should be expected for this time of year.
